HONEY Pure and local from bees living happily in our gardens and fields. Because we don't spray our vegetables and flowers, and because we do not follow the disturbing new practice of augmenting honey with chemical extenders, our honey is sweet, clean, and good for you. We do not 'cook' our honey; it is raw.
Honey is available in half-pound ($4.50), one pound ($8)and two pound ($15) jars and bottles.
PRESERVES are made in small batches at Scarecrow Farm from fruit at the farm or sourced from nearby growers such as Don Baker Fruit Farm and Eger Brothers. Our jams contain only things you can pronounce -- fruit, sugar, and fruit pectin, with sometimes a splash of lemon juice to enhance flavor. No corn syrup here! Our 8 oz jars sell for $6.00 each. Favorite flavors include strawberry, rhubarb, strawberry-rhubarb, blueberry, blackberry, crabapple, pear, and peach, but there are lots more to choose from in season.
